Be immersed into our Lotions & Potions workshop at Lotherton, as part of a series of events to complement the community co-curated exhibition Homes of the Gascoignes.

Discover the history of Lotherton with Mr Prater, the Gascoigne’s land agent and uncover the secrets of the estate.

The workshop will begin with a theatrical performance from costumed tour guides, bringing Lotherton to life. You will hear stories of what went on behind closed doors both upstairs and downstairs at Lotherton, as told by staff and members of the Gascoigne family.

The performance will be followed by tea and cakes and you will then have the opportunity to make some natural cleaning products with the Gascoigne’s chauffeur, William Burlingham.

Booking is required for this event and your ticket will include entry to the estate.
