A Lotherton Summer Holiday

From 29 Jul – 3 Sept we will be hosting A Lotherton Summer Holiday!

Our brand new summer event takes inspiration from traditional seaside holidays in the UK – we’re bringing the Yorkshire coast to Lotherton all summer long.

Hop on a tractor tour, have a go at our giant garden games and wash it all down with a trip to the beach hut café.

We’ll have live music on selected days, family activities throughout the holidays, and special event days.

Outdoor Fun

Beach Fun

Our super sand pit will be open all summer, with buckets and spades available to buy from the beach shack!

Big Top

Head into the Big Top to try out your circus skills and look out for the coconut shy and strong man test.

Live Music

On Sundays throughout the holidays we will have different local bands playing in the gardens.

Foot Golf

It’s somewhere between football… and golf! Bring your own football and see if you can score a hole, or all five!

Garden fun

From giant garden games to relaxing seating areas and shady spots under our trees, the gardens are a great place to relax and enjoy a picnic.

Tractor tours

Our tractor tours are brand new for 2023 and will be available to book on a first-come, first-served basis, on the day of your visit. There is an additional cost of £5pp. Unfortunately our tractor is not accessible. The tractor tours may not run if there is wet or severely windy weather.

Indoor activities

Head into the house to take part in crafts, play with our curiosity cabinets in the rooms, find out which of the Lotherton dogs you are, and lots of dressing up stations!

Wildlife World and Corner

Explore Wildlife World and take part in animal sports day activities in the Nest Box on selected days. Then stroll down to Wildlife Corner to see the deer hide, have a go at building a den, and spot some local nature in the pond.

The Lotherton Summer Holiday event and Vintage Weekend is included in general entry but pre-booking is recommended as we expect these to be popular.

Outdoor theatre productions are hosted by theatre companies and you need to purchase tickets separately to attend.
