May Half Term – Family Sunflower Making

To support World Refugee Day on 20 June and to raise awareness for people who have come to Leeds to seek sanctuary, we need your help to cover the giant map of Leeds at Leeds City Museum with sunflowers.

This family workshop will look at objects from the museum collection donated by people settling in Leeds, and craft felt and paper sunflowers to be displayed in the Brodrick Hall at Leeds City Museum during World Refugee Week, 20 – 25 June, as part of the Sunflower Project.
