Visible Mending Workshop

Inspired by the Fast x Slow Fashion exhibition, come along to our Visible Mending workshop at Leeds City Museum.

Join Hayley Smith-Mills as she takes you through the basics of hand embroidery, a technique which can be used to repair a treasured garment.  Inspired by the Japanese technique of Boro, the practice of reworking and repairing textiles through piecing, patching and stitching.

All materials are provided, just bring an item of clothing that you would like to mend!

Hayley is a thread artist and embroidery teacher.

Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite and are £16.22 per person (£15 + £1.22 fees).
