Step into Leeds City Museum for a theatre workshop experience like no other…
We welcome Alive & Kicking Theatre Company to our museum for a theatre session with a twist, we need YOUR help to be bring it to life!
Aladdin had his lamp, Bilbo had a magic ring, Doctor Who wields her sonic screwdriver… All of these objects have a story, but we have a museum full of objects that have lost their own stories!
Discover objects lost in time and help us create brand new stories for them.
• Help the Museum’s curator, Icarus Bly, save the world from becoming one without stories to enrich our lives.
• Create original adventures from scratch, inspired by an object from the museum.
• Children will become the heroes of their own imaginations and the authors of exciting tales, writers of epic narratives!
An event linked to our current special exhibition in partnership with the British Library, Living with Machines: human stories from the industrial age.
Suitable for children aged 5 – 12 and their parents/carers. Each session is approx. 1-1.5 hours. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
