The Leeds’ Sessions – How to Play a Pianodrome: with S!nk and Special Guests
‘Artists in Resonance’ Tim Vincent-Smith and Matt Wright host an evening of musical innovation in their incredible Pianodrome creation. Their band S!nk unlocks the Pianodrome as an instrument in its own right, with a beguiling improvisatory interplay, described as ’near telepathic,’ in a vibrant, warm and welcoming night of musical fun.
S!nk are the Edinburgh multi-instrumentalist trio whose dynamic in-the-round performances led to the creation of the Pianodrome itself. The band will perform works spanning their 15 years of sonic exploration – from their early saxophone/violin/accordion acoustic line-up, to works made for three pianos, a live piano dissection and their scintillating performances on pianos turned inside-out.
