Join us at Leeds City Museum for a talk and beer tasting event with Steve Holt, Head of Kirkstall Brewery. Steve’s talk will touch on the history of brewing in Leeds from 1821 to present day. He will give a fascinating insight into the many breweries which once existed in Leeds, many of which were located in individual pubs across the city.

The talk will be accompanied by tastings of a range of beer, ales and barley wine to give a unique experience of the development of the drinks as we know them today.

You can also visit our latest exhibition 200th Birthday out of hours and there will be Kirkstall Brewery drinks available on site for you to enjoy.

Please note this is a strictly over 18s event.

Please book your ticket on eventbrite.

Cheers!
