Temple Newsam has a history that goes back almost 1000 years with its first known mention in the Doomsday book. Over its long history, there have been numerous owners who have called it home and left their mark on it. One such person was Frances Shepheard neé Gibson, Viscountess Irwin. So, who was Frances Shepheard? What is her legacy at Temple Newsam? Join us with  curator Rathi Tamilselvan  to find out.
