Join us for a museum late event, inspired by our current exhibition – Living with Machines.

Come along to experience the museum after hours and get involved in weaving demonstrations and informal workshops.

What’s On

6pm: Museum open

7 – 8pm: Workers’ protest ballads, some of which are the only surviving copies, on loan from the British Library, performed to original music by Leeds-based folk musicians.

8.30 – 9.30pm: Can you quiz it? Yes you can! A Tribe Called Quiz… quiz

Drop in all evening:

– Demonstrations of traditional weaving techniques on the dobby loom by local textile artist, Agnis Smallwood.

– Weaving kits to try your hand at and take home

– Lego robotics workshops where you can create your own models and use motion sensors to make them move.

– Plant workshops with Eve Finlay-Miller

Bar in the main hall of the museum.
