Marvellous Machines Crafts
Date/Time
09 August 2022
10am - 12pm & 1 - 3pm
Venue Leeds City Museum
FREE – Drop in
This summer holidays at Leeds City Museum we are taking inspiration from our exhibition with the British Library, Living with Machines.
It’s marvellous, it’s machines, it’s things that move and fly and are craft-able!
We’ll have a pick and mix of crafts, something for all ages. Join us in the main hall of the museum.
If you craft something that flies, you could test it out over the big floor map of Leeds… or if you build a time machine, you could see where it takes you…!
Drop in slots:
10am-12pm (last entry to crafts: 11.40am)
1pm-3pm (last entry to crafts: 2.40pm)
If your family would benefit from a quieter crafting session, please see our Quieter Crafts session on 12 August. The Quieter Crafts session is booking only and suitable for families with additional needs / anxiety / neurodiversity.
An event linked to our current special exhibition in partnership with the British Library, Living with Machines: human stories from the industrial age.
