Families, come along to try machine dancing with us at Leeds City Museum this summer holiday!

Watch Shrikant Subramaniam perform a short classical Indian dance on our beautiful floor map of Leeds in the main hall of the museum. We will then invite you to try out some of the hand gestures and movements, enticing the children to get involved (and keen adults too!). We will be moving like machinery and learning an interesting rap as we go.

This is suitable for all ages and abilities, and is sure to make you smile. Shrikant always brightens up the space and makes our visitors have fun, while discovering something totally different.

Limited spaces, sign up on the day.

An event linked to our current special exhibition in partnership with the British LibraryLiving with Machines: human stories from the industrial age.
