As part of our Money Talks exhibition we have invited Jennifer Adam, Head Curator at the Bank of England Museum, to give a virtual tour and talk.
This online tour and talk will explore the role and purpose of the Bank of England through an architectural history of this important London landmark.
Told through the objects in the museums’ collections, Jennifer will speak about the fascinating history of the Bank of England and how it has changed.
You will find out about the historical collections on display at the Bank of England Museum, as well as the gold and banknotes held in the secure vaults.
The Bank of England Museum contains 40,000 items and spans over 1,500 years of history. It includes archaeology, banknotes, coins, artworks, sculpture, decorative art and social history.
