Join us at Leeds City Museum for the annual Hip Hop History Month celebration community day, celebrating the 48th year of  positive Hip Hop culture. This event is run in partnership with The Hip Hop Historian Society.

A free, fun-filled and family-friendly day with workshops in all elements of Hip Hop Culture, including:

  • B-Boying/Girling with TENTONN
  • Graffiti with HYRO
  • Emcee with IQWON
  • Beatbox with DMW
  • Creative Writing with D3 & Autumn
  • Deejay with ODDBALL
  • Production with DJ AGENT M

The day will also comprise of Live acts from Hip Hop Artists Bravo, D3, Teks, Obi Joe, Jodie Davies, Silverfinger Singh, JJ Bantz, Oliver Rees, Blackson.

There will also be a Hip Hop Health Q&A panel.

And not to be missed the Baby Block Party with Boom Chikka Boom!

FREE for all ages at Leeds City Museum.

7th, 14th, 21st & 28th November – Film screenings at The Leeds City Museum every Sunday at 12pm.

10th November – Introduction to the elements of Hip Hop with HELLO HIP HOP at NARUKA’S SOUP KITCHEN at 12pm.

18th November – Straight Outta Comics – Celebrating Hip Hop culture in comic books with DJ AGENT M at OK COMICS at 3pm.
