Leeds City Museum will host Dr Andrew Woods (Senior Curator, Yorkshire Museum) for an after hours talk on hoarding in Yorkshire.
It will touch upon the history of hoarding money, including examples of Roman coins, Viking silver and Seventeenth-century cheese, all of which have been a part of hoards concealed in our region.
Dr Woods will consider who, where and why hoards have been hidden over the past 2,000 years.
Visit the Money Talks exhibition on the top floor of Leeds City Museum to find out more about the history of money and the different ways it is used.
