Venue Leeds Art Gallery
Enjoy the flowers of late summer in this relaxing hand embroidery class.
We’ll meet at the gallery to explore representations of flowers in the collection and then head over to the Drawing Room to learn how to recreate small floral designs in stitch. We’ll be taking inspiration from the Gott Bequest, a beautiful selection of horticulture and gardening books in Leeds Libraries special collections. During your visit find out about more contemporary artists and books to borrow which will help you with your sewing adventures!
This event is held in collaboration with Art Library as part of the Age Proud Leeds Festival. Please pay as you feel.
Advance booking is required via Ticketsource.
