This free CPD event will value artworks by professional artists in school and is open to anyone interested in teaching and learning.

Lala Thorpe, Learning Curator for the Arts Council Collection, who is leading Take Two a pilot national schools loan programme, will share a creative provocation inviting us to become curators and consider what we would choose to display in school and why?

We’ll also spend making-thinking time within the exhibition Found Cities, Lost Objects curated by Turner Prize winning artist Lubaina Himid CBE, who selected works from the Arts Council Collection, Leeds Art Gallery collection and works by artists based in Leeds and Yorkshire.

Art Social is a collaboration between the Henry Moore Institute and Leeds Art Gallery. ‘Found Cities, Lost Objects’ is an Arts Council Collection Touring Exhibition.
