One of the most renowned photographer’s of the 20th century, Peter Mitchell is perhaps most well known for his documentary photography of Leeds across the 1970s and 80s while working as a delivery truck driver.

In celebration of Mitchell’s new exhibition at Leeds Art Gallery, Nothing Lasts Forever, this special evening talk will see the artist himself reflecting on his long-rooted connection with the city of Leeds, sharing stories from his remarkable photography career and how his most iconic works came to be.

The event will be followed by a book signing.
