Light For Leeds – An Interfaith Week Event

A free, drop-in Interfaith Week event featuring representation from many major faiths and celebrating what we all have in common. Whether you follow a particular faith or are simply looking for a great afternoon of activities that all the family can enjoy, this event is suitable for all.
Featuring stalls, musical performances, prayer, meditation, food and drink. The day concludes with a guided walk to the Chapter House at 3.45pm.

12 – 12.20pm – OPENING: Call To Prayer and speeches
12.45 – 1.10pm – Meditative Walk (Brahma Kumaris)
1.30 – 2pm– Carol singing
2.17pm – Late afternoon prayers (Asr)
2.25pm – Reading on universal loving kindness
2.30 – 2.55pm – Meditative Walk (Brahma Kumaris)
3 – 3.30pm – A performance of Indian classical music
3.30pm – LAST ADMISSION
3.45pm – Congregate for dusk walk to Chapter House
4.09pm – Sunset prayers (Maghrib) in Chapter House
4.15pm – END
