Abbey guided tour

Experience a guided tour of Kirkstall Abbey with one of our knowledgeable volunteers.

Discover 870 years of history inside one of the most complete Cistercian abbeys in the country. Find out who lived and worked at Kirkstall, and marvel at the architecture of the impressive abbey ruins. Along the way you will have the opportunity to listen to our audio guide to find out more from the curators of the abbey.

Our guided tours are FREE with general admission and run between April and October.

Tours are 30 – 45 mins.
