Are you aged 14 – 19? Then welcome to our Sculpture Hack for young people this summer at Leeds Art Gallery to celebrate Yorkshire Sculpture International!

Experience sculptural making and tinkering surrounded by art works by Leeds born Damien Hirst, plus international artists, Rachel Harrison, Joanna Piotrowska and Nobuko Tsuchiya including stunning illustrations from the Leeds Libraries collections.

Play with the theme of Found Objects and Recycling. Tinker with Makey Makey, Sphero, BBC Micro:bits and Raspberry Pi computers and create an interactive response to Yorkshire Sculpture International at Leeds Art Gallery. No coding or digital making experience necessary – all skill levels are welcome and all materials will be provided.

If you would like to borrow a micro:bit at the end of the workshop, please bring a valid Leeds Library card.

This event is run in partnership with Leeds Museums and Galleries, Leeds Libraries, Yorkshire Sculpture International and Pop Up and Play
