Guided tours and group visits
Abbey House Museum is a wonderful place for a guided tour or group visit. Wander the Victorian streets and discover our incredible collection of children’s toys and memorabilia.
Fridays between March and November
Our guided tour takes you through the museum’s authentically re-created Victorian streets for a glimpse at what life was like in 19th century Leeds.
Your guide will take you through the shops, pub and businesses that were part of the city over 100 years ago.
The tour begins at 1pm in the Gatehouse Café, where a Colonel North lunch will be served. You will meet your guide and they will introduce you to Abbey House Museum before taking you through to the Victorian streets. Once the guided tour has finished, we invite you to discover the rest of the museum at your leisure, including the latest exhibition.
The tour of the Victorian streets takes approximately 45 minutes. We recommend allowing 1.5 hours for your visit, not including lunch.
